About Us

Thank you for visiting kabtak.in

KabTak is a bilingual online daily magazine that publishes commentaries, views, opinions, analysis and more on important events happening every day especially in Indian politics and society. It is available in Urdu (kabtakurdu.com) and English (kabtak.in).

We focus specifically on topics related to marginalized communities, which are often ignored in the media or presented with a specific frame or agenda.

One of the main objectives of this website is to start a discussion on the internal issues faced by marginalized communities, especially Muslims. While they love to see external issues affecting them with critical eyes, they tend to be less receptive to criticism of their internal problems and matters. Therefore, this website will give special space to articles covering the internal problems of the Muslim community from a critical or alternative perspectives.

Young students, researchers, journalists, and writers who write on current political and social issues but lack a platform to amplify their voices to thousands of people will find this platform a valuable opportunity.

Additionally, for important articles, we offer translations. This will help writers who write exclusively either in English or Urdu to reach a broader and more targeted audience. This platform, in this sense, works as a bridge not only for these writers but also for our readers who will immensely benefit from reading insights written across two languages.

However, translation acceptance depends entirely on the relevance of the topic, its quality, and the resources available to us. We encourage you to send us a translation of your article if you wish to publish it in the other language of this website.
